Also Known As:

Venography abdomen with bilateral lower limb (scan charges only)

Venography of the abdomen with bilateral lower limbs is a specialized imaging study designed to evaluate the venous system from the abdomen through both legs. This scan provides detailed visualization of the inferior vena cava, iliac veins, femoral veins, and deep and superficial veins of the lower limbs, helping detect abnormalities such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous obstruction, congenital venous anomalies, or post-surgical complications. High-resolution imaging allows clinicians to assess the patency, size, and structure of veins, identify blockages or clots, and evaluate venous flow patterns. “Scan Charges Only” indicates that the cost includes only the imaging procedure, excluding contrast material or other consumables. This study is particularly valuable in patients with leg swelling, pain, redness, or suspected thromboembolic events, providing critical information for timely diagnosis and treatment. By offering comprehensive evaluation of the abdominal and lower limb venous system, it supports effective medical, surgical, or interventional management of venous disorders.
